Biography
Beth Malcolm recently retired from her role as Vice President at Canadian Women’s Foundation, a national public foundation focusing on gender-based violence, economic justice, girls empowerment and inclusive leadership. In her role as Vice President, Beth successfully led a team of 17 professionals delivering all aspects of the Foundation’s grantmaking, capacity building, collective impact, policy, and advocacy work, including the development of a unique northern strategy.

Beth has close to 40 years’ experience in the non-profit sector, including front-line counselling, group work, program development and delivery, social enterprise development, strategic planning and community development. She has worked at local, regional and national levels, and developed numerous partnerships, always leading with a feminist, anti-violence, intersectional lens.

Haily MacDonald

Biography
Haily is a feminist activist located in Barrie, Ontario. She is currently the Executive Director at Huronia Transition Homes, a not-for-profit organization within Simcoe County, Ontario that is working to end all violence against all women. Haily recently completed her master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, where she used the sustainable livelihoods framework to conduct research on the organization’s social enterprise Operation Grow, focusing on understanding the impacts of violence against women, the unique needs violence creates, and how social enterprise can be designed to meet these unique needs and ultimately reduce the impacts of violence.  Haily is active in community, and is currently a member of the Barrie Anti-Racism Task Force and various Ontario health team tables.
Lisa Caton

Biography
Lisa (she/her) brings over 25 years of senior non-profit leadership experience in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia to her role as Board Director with Sustainable Livelihoods, including on the senior leadership team at Momentum (Calgary). She has worked with change-making organizations in a wide range of sectors including health, poverty reduction, local economic development, workforce development, financial empowerment, microlending, arts and culture, and the environment. Over the course of her career, Lisa has led non-profit operations, strategy, planning, organizational development, human resources, evaluation and impact, public policy, systems change, and governance. She has over 20 years of experience working with the sustainable livelihoods framework. An active volunteer in her community on Vancouver Island, Lisa has many years of Board involvement in organizations working to advance social justice and well-being. Lisa is a lifelong learner, has a MA in Adult Education from the University of Toronto, and has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) Non-Profit Governance Essentials program.
Andrew Holeton

Biography
Andrew Holeton has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 25 years in operational, developmental, policy and advocacy roles. Following a decade of frontline experience in BC and Ontario, his past positions include leadership roles in community economic development, social enterprise, employment services and homelessness prevention. He brings a keen understanding of how effective evaluation enriches the work of organizations and the impact they can achieve. For the last 10 years he and his wife have been fortunate to live on Vancouver Island, residing in the traditional territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.
Eric Leviten-Reid

Biography
Eric Leviten-Reid is a community development practitioner with a focus on comprehensive, collaborative approaches to complex issues.  Born and raised in Cape Breton, Eric currently supports community engagement and collaboration initiatives for New Dawn Enterprises, a multifaceted community development organization serving Cape Breton Island since 1977.  Areas of interest include social development, local food and food security, and climate change.  Previously, Eric worked with the Caledon Institute of Social Policy and Tamarack: An Institute for Community Engagement where he served as policy researcher and learning and evaluation coordinator for the national Vibrant Communities poverty reduction initiative.
